I didn’t installed it yet, but I contacted the author to ask if the source code will be available at any time or not.įinally, when following my feeds from LifeHacker, I stumbled upon an article about HyperSwitch. Prior to the removal of HyperSwitch 0.2.365-dev, you should first log into your Mac with an administrator account, and turn HyperSwitch 0.2.365-dev off if it is running. This only excludes F9-F12 and the “Pause” key which have built-in secondary functions that can’t be overridden.įor the keys that can be given a secondary binding, you can select them on the keyboard map, and then select a function from the columns on the left, as you would for a normal key-binding change. In the “Customize” sub-tab of the “Keyboard” tab click on “Standard” to switch to the Hypershift key-bindings.īy default, almost all keys continue to use their default behaviour when the Hypershift key is pressed. When you click on it, it should turn orange and change to say “Hypershift”. The Hypershift key bindings can be configured by clicking the button under the keyboard image that says “Standard”. To add a secondary key binding, you need to use the Razer Synapse 3.0 software designed to manage modern Razer peripherals. Every other key on the keyboard can be configured to have a secondary key functionality.
